The Scraffito Series from Pratt & Larson

The newest addition of patterned ceramic tile from one of the tile industry's leading manufacturers.

The Scraffito Series of ceramic tile is inspired by the ancient technique of scratching a surface layer to reveal a ground of contrasting color. The resulting designs have a hand carved or drawn appearance. There are four different patterns in this series and each is available in both a 5"x10" or 8"x8" size. There are eight different colors used for the contrasting underglaze which recedes into the carved lines. The overglaze color options are wider and using the lighter of these color choices helps show the underglaze details more clearly.
